Her Ladyship, the Hon. Justice Wynante Mary Adrien-Roberts is a citizen of the Commonwealth of Dominica by birth and a graduate of the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus where she obtained her Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree. Her Ladyship obtained her Legal Education Certificate from the Norman Manley Law School and a Master of Laws (LL.M) from the George Washington University Law School.

In 1994, Her Ladyship was admitted to practice as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court in Dominica and worked in the Public Service of the Government of Dominica where she served in various capacities including State Attorney, Registrar, Magistrate, Solicitor General, Manager and Legal Officer of the International Business Unit and Director of Public Prosecutions. 

Her Ladyship enjoyed a short stint as a private legal practitioner from 2012 – 2014 before assuming the position of Deputy Attorney General of the Turks and Caicos Islands in January 2015. Later that year, in September 2015, Her Ladyship joined the Bench of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court as a High Court Judge. She was assigned to the island of Grenada where she served until 2019 when she was assigned to her island home Dominica
