Darin Grell

Ms. Darin Grell is a professional with more than fifteen years of experience serving the small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) in Dominica and the subregion. For over twelve years,  she served as Information Officer for the Competitive Business Unit of the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) where she was responsible for researching and delivering strategic information geared to the companies in the export sector. In addition, she assisted with managing and maintaining the Unit’s trade, government and other contacts, and assisting with the implementation of technical assistance to SMEs within the OECS among other roles. She currently teaches Caribbean History and Information Technology at her alma mater, the Convent High School.

Darin is a motivator, public speaker, serving her community for many years in various roles with the Rotary Club of Dominica. She is a leader, analytical decision maker, and a creative and innovative problem solver. She has a deep desire to further the use of technology in education, particularly in teaching.

She holds a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing, Management, International Business from the University of South Florida and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Management Information Systems from the University of South Florida. She is fluent in English and Spanish. Her hobbies include reading, outdoor photography, hiking, and traveling.
