A New Year At Create Caribbean!

The feeling of satisfaction when you are starting afresh is bitter-sweet simply because whilst there is the opportunity to correct pass mistakes and do things right, there is more room for error. However, in order to be fully satisfied, the little spaces that are there should be closed in by success and so far Create Caribbean has done a good job in filling these gaps. In the short period of time that I have been an intern at the institution I have gained a lot of knowledge and it is safe to say that I am actually excited about the new projects that I have been introduced to work on this coming months. So I can say it is with a feeling of satisfaction that I am starting anew with Dr. Esprit and the rest of the interns at Create.

I have been assigned to the Sustainable Development in the Caribbean Project where I will be working alongside Jada Esprit and Jodine Robin. This project involves the different establishments that promote sustainable development in the Caribbean ranging from the Bahamas to Guyana. So far this has been a very interesting project and I have no complains. It is without doubt that this project  alongside the Small Business  Research Database Project  and a few of the other projects that I am working on will benefit me as a student studying in the field of economics and business.  I must press on the fact that the knowledge that I obtain from these projects is local and that is something that one does not learn in the classroom and it will be beneficial to me on a long-term basis.

So it will soon be a new year at Create Caribbean and I am hoping to have fun. Whilst I may not show it on the outside on the inside I am quite excited and look forward to the unfolding of the establishment for the coming year.
